UCL Computer Science works closely with a broad range of employers from technology sector and beyond; and has organised a programme of employer led events to help students maximise their employability and learn more about exciting opportunities, current trends and challenges in industry and how skills taught at UCL can be transferred to the real world.
Freesat Tech Talk by Ali Teffahi, Head of Architecture & Engineering @Freesat UK

How software/hardware engineering skills coupled with astute technology strategy can be used to create media/TV products to to delight users and unleash businesses.
Ali Teffahi has a Computer Science and Engineering Mathematics MEng Degree from Bristol University — Graduate Studies @Cambridge University Computer lab / Engineering department in applied mathematics, signals processing and wireless communication. Professional career started in Research and Development as a junior scientist @Philips Research Labs Redhill moving to academic graduate studies and teaching at Cambridge University. Since 2009 he has been in Media Technology industry working as analyst, engineer and architect creating and standardising technologies for interactive TV. Since 2013, he has been with Freesat as a Technical Architect working on a suite of media of products. Now he is leading the Architecture and engineering teams.
