You can influence the agenda of our future meetings, by suggesting or requesting a focus for the meeting, eg. KS1 Computing, GCSE Computing, CS Unplugged, Raspberry Pi, Python. Please note that registration is required in advance.
This event is probably most relevant for teachers of Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4 Computing - but is open to other participants.
Afterwards: The Preston Raspberry Jam event follows from 6.00-9.00pm - a chance to meet Preston's community of Raspberry Pi enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds.
Directions: this event will be held in UCLan's Media Innovation Studio (photos) on the 4th floor of the Media Factory Building which is just off Kirkham Street. It's recommended to take the lift up to the 4th floor, as it's a long stair climb. The venue is a 7min walk from Preston train station or 10min from Preston bus station. Directions to Media Factory.
Parking: Limited numbers of free parking spaces are available at Victoria Street car park, Postcode PR1 7AY, corner of Victoria Street and Brook Street (Google Streetview link). Alternatively, there is additional free limited parking on the surrounding streets (Victoria St & Harrington St), Pay & Display (£1 per hour on Adelphi St between Victoria & Harrington St).
