Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders. Every day, we match incredible individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people with blood cancer and blood disorders who desperately need lifesaving transplants. Marrow is made up of some amazing students. There are over 50 groups, with hundreds of volunteers in universities across the country, who are all working towards one thing – help Anthony Nolan save the lives of people with blood cancer. Marrow student groups recruit a quarter of our stem cells donors, saving the lives of people across the world.

Voluntary Action Islington
Voluntary Action Islington is the membership organisation for people working to make a positive difference to life in Islington. Our vision is a resilient voluntary sector that actively collaborates to support residents and the community. We provide information, training and support to volunteers, staff and trustees within the voluntary and community sector in Islington. We are the accredited Volunteer Centre for Islington.

Centra Care and Support provides support and care services and supported housing management services across the group partners of the Circle housing organisation. Our mission is to 'enhance life chances'. Life chances are the opportunities each individual has to improve his or her quality of life.

Frontier, established in 1989, is a non-profit conservation and development NGO. Frontier has over 300 projects in 50 different countries facilitating wildlife conservation research, community development and education. Frontier sends hundreds of volunteers overseas each year to gain work experience and recognised qualifications in their chosen field.

The Rock Stone Cycling Hub
A cycling project that uses bicycles to promote & facilitate health, education & youth development. It began as Rock Stone Bike Alley and was founded in 2005 by Rockford Copeland. After planning a cycling trip with his daughters, some other youngsters in the same neighbourhood wanted to come also. He collected old frames and bike parts and turned his garage into a repair workshop. On Sundays youngsters would cycle to various locations in London. They began with specific council estates all over London – coining the phrase “Post Code Rides”, in an attempt to break down barriers.
Volunteer Roles: Students who can volunteer as bike mechanics, students with IT skills to run the bike workshop administration, sports science/sports therapy students who can support the health bike hub at St Ann's Hospital, Psychology students who can support the health bike hub at St Ann's Hospital
Side by Side is an Alzheimer’s Society service which helps people with dementia to keep doing the things they love with the support of a volunteer and we are currently looking for volunteers for this service. This service provides one-to-one support for people with dementia, who might sometimes feel isolated or find it difficult to leave their homes, remain active and feel part of their local community.
