Wed 14 June 2017, 09:00 – 15:00 BST
What is a Computing Enrichment Event?
The Tablet Academy are excited to offer schools the opportunity to take part in a Computing Festival where students will be exposed to some of the most innovative uses of technology in the classroom. During the Festival students will have the opportunity to program robots, collaborate in Minecraft, develop online games and program their own LEGO creations.
The Computing Enrichment Events are designed for Key Stage 2 (Years 5 & 6) and Key Stage 3 (Years 7 & 8) students and focus on the Computing Curriculum. They provide teachers with the opportunity to see what is available to support the curriculum and students the chance to experience new technology.

Minecraft: Collaborate to programme a Lighthouse
Dash Robots: Program robots to complete the maze
Lightbot: Use logical thinking to program a virtual robot
Robotic Arm: Remove the "Nuclear waste" using the robotic arm
