Join us at Apple Regional Training Centre, Alderley Edge School for Girls, to see the engaging and innovative ways that iPad can support the teaching of computing in your setting. We’ll showcase the ways that iPad and Sphero can introduce the concepts of the computing curriculum to students of all ages and abilities, from reception into KS2, KS3 and further.
Everyone Can Code - The Everyone Can Code curriculum will guide you through Swift Playgrounds, an app that teaches coding for students through a world of interactive puzzles and playful characters.

Alderley Edge School is proud to be the Cheshire Apple Regional Training Centre.
As an ‘Apple Distinguished School’ we have been recognised as a centre of leadership, technological innovation and educational excellence and we have recently been awarded the prestigious status of ‘Cheshire Apple Regional Training Centre’ for our continued technological investment in our staff and girls.
Key to all of this is our Technology Enhanced Learning (T.E.L.) strategy that ensures that our school leaders, teachers and our extended community have a clear vision for how technology-rich environments support the learning goals of each girl, allowing technology to inspire student creativity, collaboration and critical thinking. This helps us to cultivate an environment in which our girls are excited and curious about learning and blends the best of technological innovation with the best of traditional teaching methods.
As an Apple Regional Training Centre ,we offer courses that will support teaching staff in their own journey to develop, by using innovative technology mixed with the best traditional teaching methods. Our courses are suitable for a range of abilities, but with a particular focus on teachers just beginning their iPad journey.
