Event description

Description

A FREE CPD event for Computing teachers

Jupyter is quickly becoming a standard tool for exploring Python programming and is used by some largest technology companies for "real" Data Science projects.

Its power lies in its simplicity and they way that it can be used to document programming/data explorations.

The event will be delivered through Jupyter and will show how concepts can be presented to students using worked examples, followed by challenges to enable deep learning of programming.

Examples will be given using core elements of the Python programming language, which will be used to solve some recreational mathematics problems.

Finally, a Jupyter Notebook will be used to demonstrate the fundamentals of databases using MySQL
