About COMS

A high-impact day designed by and for Community Managers in coworking spaces.

COMS (The Community Managers Summit) is a one-day event that brings coworking space community managers together to learn, connect, and celebrate their profession. It's a chance to share ideas, sharpen skills, and build meaningful relationships with others who understand the challenges and rewards of the role.

One day, one place, one mission: Elevate the work of community building in coworking spaces.

The Experience

A Summit yes, but one designed as an experience.

A one-day break from the daily grind, offering a chance to step back, reflect, and find inspiration in the insights and expertise of like-minded peers.

This program is built with you, not just for you. From the start, you can expect no panel discussions or keynote talks—just hands-on learning and real conversations with everyone in the room.

The day will revolve around five interactive workshops, each structured around the key pillars of a Community Manager's role. The exact topics will be fine-tuned based on your input through the onboarding questionnaire, ensuring we focus on what truly matters to you.

The Agenda

Meet The Organisers

COMS is brought to you by Pauline Roussel and Dimitar Inchev, Co-Founders of Coworkies—a global job board and HR platform dedicated to coworking brands. Since launching Coworkies nearly a decade ago, we've been on a mission to make coworking better.

Our Journey to COMS

Back in 2015, we grabbed our bags and laptops, boarded a flight form Berlin to Milan, and began knocking on coworking doors wherever we landed. Sixty‑seven cities and more than 550 coworking spaces later, one idea kept surfacing in every chat we had with operators:

"Our team needs a place to swap notes—somewhere to learn from people who do this every day."

We started with print. Around the World in 250 Coworking Spaces turned those road‑trip interviews into a big beautiful yellow book— that told the stories of the spaces we visited, talked about the reasons behind all the different coworking spaces, their layouts that worked, rituals that didn't, and the tiny details that make a space feel alive.

Then we initiated something smaller and in‑person: The Community Managers Retreats. Four days in a quiet spot, a dozen managers, no slide decks. Just shared meals, whiteboard scribbles, and late‑night sharing of stories and best practices.

COMS is the next step. Think of it as a working session scaled up: you help write the agenda, steer the workshops, and walk out with contacts you'll actually message on a Monday.

Projects

A special experience calls for a special room. We found it at Projects, a beautiful coworking brand from Brighton that partnered with us to bring COMS to life. We will spend the day in The Globe, their beautiful round event space that offers an amazing overview around town.
