Event description
A live + livestream classical concert hosted by John Suchet. All proceeds to International Rescue Committee for their work in Afghanistan

About this event

Host: John Suchet of Classic FM

This concert has one goal: to help.

All performers and helpers are giving their services free of charge.

Be part of a very special event, hear some of the finest classical musicians in the world, and help transform the lives of those in need.

All proceeds from the concert will go directly to the International Rescue Committee, to help with its work in Afghanistan.

Everyone in this concert - whether performer, helper, listener physically present in the venue, or listener virtually present via streaming - is part of an event based entirely on love for fellow humans. You will hear that in every note. I guarantee it.

- Enrico Alvares, Project Director

International Rescue Committee in Afghanistan

The IRC have been working on the ground in Afghanistan since 1988, and have continued their work despite the recent instability. They have launched a $10 million appeal to raise much needed funds, and your donation will help ensure they can continue to deliver lifesaving aid.

The recent transfer of power in Afghanistan has caused immense uncertainty across the country. Over 3 million Afghans are internally displaced, with an additional 550,000 people internally displaced this year alone.
