Description
Join Emily and Jack Lowe, directors of the Lowe Academy of Music and the Arts, for a pop power concert - crossing genres as well as instruments. Expect ukuleles, a double bass, bubbles, props, percussion and more as they perform a variety of popular classic tunes in different styles.
Emily Lowe holds a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts and has performed with some of the top acts in Europe including Andrea Bocelli’s UK Arena Tour, Ray Davies Meltdown finale and Noel Gallager’s High Flying Birds tour. Recording credits include movie soundtracks such as The Hobbit: An unexpected Journey and The Life of Pi. Emily specialises in vocal tuition and creative musical workshop leading. Jack Lowe holds a First Class degree in Music and a Masters in Composition. He has performed extensively on both double and electric bass with various ensembles such as Cutashine Hoedown Collective, The Langsett Dance Orchestra as well as composing and performing for ukulele with Toucan Uke. Emily and Jack co-direct the Lowe Academy of Music and the Arts delivering music tuition within schools across Sheffield.

Adults £8/ first child FREE/ under 6 months FREE/ additional children £2. When booking, please make sure you book the free spaces too.

INFO FOR ON THE DAY
- Main pub doors open at 10am, Backroom doors opens 15 minutes before the performance time.
- No need to print your ticket. Just tell us your name on the door.
- Free tea, coffee and biscuits are provided (the bar will be selling food and drinks speciality hot drinks from 12midday).
- You are responsible for the safety of your own children and belongings.
- Buggies can be left in the main bar and we encourage you to put coats and bags on the stage area.
- There is nappy changing facilities and feel free to breastfeed.
- This is a listening concert so we encourage you to not chat throughout so your fellow audience members and little ones can really enjoy the music.
