This one-off VIP gala dinner will give you the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the rich and famous and step on-board this supersonic airliner.

The unique evening will begin with a drinks reception and a Concorde tour before guests enjoy their private dining experience underneath the wings of this historic aircraft. Live music for the evening will be provided by a string quartet and an event photographer will be providing complimentary souvenir pictures from this very special occasion.

The guest speakers for the event will be Concorde pilots, Christopher Orlebar and John Tye. They will take part in a Q&A session to talk about their time at the controls of an aircraft that was capable of speeds in excess of Mach 2. Tye flew Concorde from 1997 until 2001 whilst Orlebar started piloting the aircraft in 1976. Since retiring from British Airways in 2000, Orlebar, has been involved in writing, lectures and TV work about the history of the supersonic jet including his book The Concorde Story.

Since the first prototype took to the air in 1968 until its last flight in 2003, Concorde was an iconic sight in the skies around the globe. This anniversary gala event at Aerospace Bristol will be celebrating 40 years since the inaugural London to New York Concorde flight. This new Aerospace venue opens in July and houses the final Concorde to be built and the last to fly with Bristol being the location where the jet was originally designed, tested and manufactured.
