Description
An evening talk bringing to life the regions striking Post-War architecture and exploring it's significance as part of our historic environment. Presented with Something Concrete + Modern, an on-going project to document the buildings, people and plans that transformed the North East's capitals in the years following the Second World War.
Speakers include;
Rutter Carroll architect, writer and lecturer in post-war architecture and reinforced concrete,
James Perry award-winning design practitioner and curator with a passion for post-war architecture,
Jules Brown IHBC North Branch chair and author of conservation plans on post-war buildings.
The event will take place in the Fine Art Lecture Theatre within the King Edward II Building. Please use the Hatton Gallery entrance on Kings Road.
