Conference Heritage Houses for Europe
Date and time
Description
Conference Heritage Houses for Europe
24th of September 2019
Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium
Heritage Houses for Europe is the first Pan-European Study on family-owned heritage houses.
It aims at assessing the added value of family-owned heritage house; as well as identifying innovative business models. A better knowledge of the sector is crucial to unleash its potential.
Gathering 300 participants, the conference will present the final Study, highlighting the key findings and policy recommendations. It will also be the opportunity to give a voice to the various stakeholders: owners, policy makers, academics, experts and cultural innovators.
The conference will be opened by Tibor Navracsics, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport. And we also give the floor to heritage house owners, notably from the next generation, to share their experiences.
The day will provide numerous opportunities to network and meet stakeholders, from start-up presenting new tools to boost attractiveness to craftmens representatives and from EU programmes officers to heritage networks.
We hope to see you there.
