11th International Conference On Governance Fraud Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Women and Sustainability in Business

About this Event

The conference is intended to be interdisciplinary and welcomes contributions from anyone who has a perspective on sustainability, corporate governance, business ethics, environmental accountability, transparency, corporate reporting or climate change risk for businesses.

Day 1: The Roles of Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Internal Control in Fraud Prevention

About the group

International Group on Governance Fraud Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was found by Prof. Dr.Kıymet in Tunca Çalıyurt in 2009. Group organises annual international conference and publishes book series in Springer. Group has 7000 contacts around the world and 200 active members. IGonGFESR has organised conferences in Turkey, Malaysia, India and Canada. Group members aim to:

  • to study and publish together
  • to publish books and journal
  • to organise seminars and summer schools
  • to consult to public and private sector.

Key note speakers

Professor Don MacRaild, Pro Vice-Chancellor: Research and Knowledge Exchange

Don MacRaild is a historian by training who has written and edited a dozen books on aspects of Irish, British, social and labour histories. He’s best known as a scholar of the Irish diaspora in Britain. He has supervised 15 PhD students who have all gone on to be academics, policy advisors, public historians, teachers and civil servants.

Don also has significant experience of the UK funding landscape. He has been a peer reviewer for UK, Irish, South African, Canadian and US funding councils and has held major grants totalling around £1m in value from the AHRC, ESRC and Leverhulme and others. Don also has 20 years of leadership experience in four universities in three countries, where has been head of several departments and associate dean for research.

Don’s first degree was taken at Liverpool Polytechnic and his first permanent academic job was at Sunderland University. He is the first generation in his family to have gone to university. He is someone who knows and appreciates the kind of university London Met is. His passion is for university’s to be engines of change that make a difference to people’s lives. After all, the universities he attended certainly made a difference to him!

Offers to run workshops, symposia, poster sessions, themed tracks or alternative events are specially welcome.

Although preference will be given to full papers, abstracts of 200-500 words will also be considered.

About the group

International Women and Business Group (IWBG) was founded by Prof.Kıymet Tunca Çalıyurt in 2009. The aim of the group is to discuss and publish on issues related to women and business. The mission of the group is to create a better, qualified and safer business environment for women in daily business life.

The fee includes:

Conference file, printed copy of conference program, certificate of presentation, publication of an accepted paper in the online conference proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches.

Registration fee does not include accommodation and transportation.

Cancellation: A refund will be given for cancellations received before JULY 15, 2020. Cancellation fee is £25.

The organiser reserves the right to cancel the conference in case of natural disaster, strike, government regulation or any other unpredictable event making it impossible to hold the conference. If a conference has to be cancelled, the organiser will refund full registration fee paid.
