This Conference is aimed at all professionals who work with children and young people across Sussex. This includes but is not limited to volunteers, foster carers, police, social care, housing officers and all health professionals.

The day will consist of six sessions that will each explore a different element of violence that is affecting young people in today's society.

Attendees can choose to attend one or several sesions, however there is an expectation that they will attend both the first and last self-care session. This will support their wellbeing when receiving information around this sensitive topic.

Outline of the day -

Session One: Self Care (part 1)

Session Two: 'A child centred approach'

Session Three: 'Expert by experience "

Session Four: ‘Themes around violence affecting young people (local and national)’

Session Five: ‘What makes a good multi-agency response?’

Session Six: Self Care (part 2)
