Tintern talks returns for the spooky season with novelist and ghostwriter Mark McCrum.

Mark McCrum has written a five top ten bestsellers with celebrities ranging from Robbie Williams to Prince Harry. In this informal, off-the-record talk he shares entertaining behind-the-scenes anecdotes and explains how a professional ghostwriter makes a memoir or TV tie-in into a succesful story.

Since moving to Wales, Mark has turned to crime - writing of course! His latest novels include Murder on Tour, about a fictional pop-star and Ghosted, where a succesful architect finds himself at his own funeral in spectral form.

Join us at this in-person event at Tintern Village Hall. Doors open at 7pm with a cash bar. Approximately one hour including questions.

Can I get a drink and a snack?

Yes, there will be a range of soft hot and cold drinks, nibbles, wine and bottled beer.

Are there pubs and restaurants nearby?

Yes, there are lots of great food venues in Tintern which take food orders from 6pm, but last food orders is usually 8.15pm, so check if you can pre-order if you would like to eat out after the talk.

The Lower Wye Valley Building Preservation Trust has taken on the challenge of preserving this remarkable ruined church of St Mary's. Once conserved, we hope it can be enjoyed by locals and visitors as a peaceful place to relax and unwind on its beautiful wooded hill with views over historic Tintern and the Wye Valley.
