Event Details

You don’t simply have self-confidence or not; it’s just not that clear cut. The truth is we all have self-confidence in varying degrees, in different aspects of our life. This taster workshop will at the very least be thought provoking, and ultimately Liz is confident that you will feel it’s been a valuable and enjoyable use of your precious time.

We will discuss what self-confidence is and the role it has to play in our lives. Gaining and maintaining self-confidence is a lifetime job, but it doesn’t need to be overly onerous. Like all the best things in life, developing and maintaining self-confidence should be enjoyable. Liz’s mission is to help you find ways to enjoy your journey to greater self-confidence. Liz will share with you a brief overview of her own big self-confidence building journey. Her personal reflection is designed to help you understand that she is approaching this from real experience and not a position of theory. Self-confidence is a massive subject, but from this taster workshop you will be able to:

  • Agree what self-confidence looks and feels like to you personally
  • Identify the most and least confident areas of your life
  • Create a mini goal setting exercise to tackle one of your self-confidence issues
  • Raise your self-confidence questions during an open forum question and answer session
  • Review what you’ve learnt about yourself (there will be no pressure to share your reflections, but the act of doing so is often a key step in tackling the issue)

Guest speaker:

Liz Tucker started her own business consultancy (Dynamic Customer Solutions Ltd) in 2003, after a long and successful corporate career. Her plan was to focus on business consultancy but her journey actually took her down the route of corporate training and life-coaching instead. At the start of 2012 Liz decided to take very early retirement and enjoy all that life had to offer.  By the end of 2012 her world had been blown apart and she made the decision to end retirement and start a new business (Shepherd Creative Learning).  These days Liz purely focuses on helping her clients improve their self-confidence so they can fulfil their dreams and aspirations. Liz has written two books on the subject of self-confidence, and is currently working on a self-confidence day book.
