Who is this event for?

This workshop is for mums who are working (employed or self-employed) and want to develop their confidence skills at work, whether that's speaking up in meetings, presenting in front of an audience, or talking about your achievements.

Do I need to run a business to come?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. This is for any mum who works, whether you’re employed, freelancing, or just starting something new.

Question 3

Why is it just for mums?

Accepted Answer

We recognise that becoming a mum is a big change and can shape our identities in unique ways. Part of the day will be looking at how our skills as mothers might apply to our work lives, and re-framing how we think about motherhood in relation to our careers.

Question 4

Will I have to speak in front of everyone?

Accepted Answer

We'll encourage participation, but it'll be a friendly and relaxed environment, with no pressure to do anything you're not comfortable with. The group will be limited to eight people so we can have some great conversations and everyone can get the most out of the day.

Question 5

Can I bring my baby/child?

Accepted Answer

The event is designed to give you a break and help you focus on yourself and your goals. If you have a little one who needs to be with you, let us know and we'll see what's possible.

Question 6

What's the food situation?

Accepted Answer

We're going to be having a light brunch together on arrival, so let us know if you have any dietary requirements. Our morning together will finish at 12.30 so you can get off if you have any afternoon commitments, but you're welcome to join us for lunch at the cafe next door.

Question 7

What happens if my plans change?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel for a full refund up until two weeks before the event. After that, we'll refund you if we're able to (i.e. if the ticket is resold), or you're welcome to resell your ticket on to someone else and let us know.

Question 8

What's this about photos?

Accepted Answer

We have an amazing professional photographer joining us to take candid pictures  and we'll share all the photos afterwards which you can use as you please, whether that's on social media or in your own business materials. Of course if you prefer your photos aren't shared online, just let us know.
