About this event
- Event lasts 3 hours
This course will cover topics including disclosing and sharing of patient information, requirements of the DPA 2018 and regulatory guidance. We will also discuss key aspects of maintaining patient confidentiality within practice systems and processes and the emerging risks associated with new ways of working with patient information such as the receipt and storage of patient photographs. Delegates will participate in breakout group discussion of case studies to demonstrate how delegates can recognise and mitigate the pitfalls associated with common practice scenarios.
This course is led by MDDUS risk adviser, Kay Grant.

Please cut and paste the following URL into your internet browser to access help on how to do this. The page includes the option to join a ‘test meeting’ from the device you intend to use. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-Joining-a-meeting
- If you experience any technical difficulty when checking you can access Zoom it could be because your local IT support is blocking access. If this happens you might consider using your own mobile device instead – Zoom works well on tablets.
