Brian started his career in H.M.Customs & Excise providing advanced search skills for teams worldwide working in a maritime environment which involved high risk confined space work. Following his passion for safety and his specialism in confined space working Brian moved into the private sector to concentrate on training. Now with over 35 years experience he has worked at CSTS Ltd for over 10 yrs and is responsible for a large team of specialist full time instructors who are deployed nationally across a wide range of business sectors which includes but not limited to: Utilities, Renewables, Tunnelling, Chemical, Manufacturing, Construction, Offshore and Public Sector including Emergency Services. Brian also sits on a number of working groups for awarding bodies and actively contributes to future standards.
