Hosted by the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) to launch their Conflict and the Creative Arts Research Centre, this one-day conference explores the role artistic practice plays in transforming individuals and societies in contexts of conflict.

A diverse programme of panel debates, in conversation sessions and opportunities for discussions and artistic discovery, the conference features an esteemed line-up of international experts, practitioners, and emerging researchers. This includes UCA’s Professor Catherine Harper and Professor Bashir Makhoul and Jonathan Harris of Birmingham City University.
