Pathways for Peace introduces Conflict Cusine! A chance to share a meal from places of current ongoing conflict to rehumanize these conflicts and learn about food.
Join us to learn about the Palestinian Conflict, the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan and the Chinese occupation of Tibet.
We aim to rehumanise these conflicts by emphasising the ways in which food, and the pratices of food foreground the every day experiences in areas of conflict.
How are pratices of creating and eating Palestinian food shaped by the conflict?
How does Tibetan food remain a symbol of resistance against Chinese oppression?
How is food interwteined with identitiy?
We hope to promote conversation about food and conflict by hearing from people who know about this food best.

There will be vegetarian and vegan options.
