Blending a deep respect for the genre’s rich heritage with a fresh, youthful perspective, their performances are not only marked by vibrance and boldness, but with warmth and approachability, reflecting the strong camaraderie at the heart of the ensemble. Through their commitment to originality, Connaught Brass breathe new life into tradition, offering a unique and engaging concert experience with the ultimate goal of bringing brass chamber music to the forefront of today’s musical world.

The recital features pieces by Bach, Rameau, Handel, Mozart, Ewald, Blumenfeld, Fauré and Beethoven, on trumpets, flugelhorn, horn, trombone and tuba.

VERY IMPORTANT - please note! There is a Cavendish Village Hall in the village of Beeley (postcode DE45 2NU), 2.5 miles away at the other end of the Chatsworth Park from Edensor. This shows up when you Google "Cavendish Hall Edensor", and we have been told that one or two car SatNav systems have been wrongly locating our postcode DE45 1PJ there as well, so please check you are headed for Edensor and not Beeley before you drive off! If you Google "Peak Music Society" it will show the correct position on the map.
