Owning or operating a historic building can come with unique benefits and challenges. These can be daunting, especially if it feels like you are taking them on alone.
This 90-minute workshop is designed for community organisations who work with, or from, a historic building. As well as connecting you to others who share your experiences, it will provide an accessible introduction to key topics like:
- Why traditional buildings matter and how they work
- Assessing the condition of your building
- Understanding pathways to ownership
- The professionals involved in regenerating an old building
- Working with your local authority
Whether you're considering essential repairs to your building, or you’re interested in a major regeneration for exciting new uses, this workshop will support you to pursue your next steps with confidence.
