In this strange, new ‘normal’ are you looking for a business networking opportunity to re-connect with other businesses out there facing similar unprecedented challenges and questions? Or are you just missing the invaluable opportunity to make links with other like-minded business people, to spark new ideas and creativity? Come and ‘Connect Over Coffee’ with us…
Make It York is running a bi-monthly business support forum to help, connect and support businesses. In these challenging times there are so many obstacles, pressures and questions when it comes to running your business. It’s important to make sure that you’re getting the business support you need, ranging from grants, legal advice, training to HR support.
The meetings will also offer you the chance to; hear from guest speakers, network via Zoom breakout rooms, discuss and address your business challenges and much more. The meetings will be chaired by Louise Saw, Business Growth Manager at Make It York.

Every second Wednesday of the month;
3rd March - PJ Edgar, Membership Executive at Make It York will explain how becoming a Trusted Suppler to our 700+ members of Visit York can increase your exposure to businesses in York and beyond.
17th March - Are you interested in winning public sector contracts to help your business stabilise or grow? Find out what tendering can do for your business in this talk from Sarah Dixon, Development Manager at Bid for Success.
31st March - Managing Stress to Improve Performance. With one in three people feeling stressed at some point in their week, this session, delivered by Emma Langton, Executive Leadership Coach - will give you proven tools and techniques to implement with ease in your daily life so that you're able to reduce stress and improve performance in your work and daily life.
As soon as COVID-19 Government guidance allows, we will aim to hold one of the monthly meetings in person.
How
Connect Over Coffee is free to attend and will take place on Zoom for 90 minutes – a worthy investment to talk about your challenges and successes in an open forum with fellow businesses. In return you’ll get the help and support you need to overcome these challenges.
When you register, you will receive a confirmation email and the Zoom link is included in this email (at the very bottom).
Once the session is over you’ll have the opportunity to contact any of the support specialists to follow up for more in-depth advice and help.
