Meditation and my approach to mindfulness and coaching
Meditation has been transformational for me over the past five years and building a daily practice has helped me be more present, connect to my inner wisdom, get clear on my purpose and helped me heal, learn and grow.
After training with one of the top priestess coaches in the Netherlands, and with Jamie Catto's school for the insanely gifted, as well as undertaking business coaching training, I wanted to bring mindfulness and meditation to a wider audience.
Coaching
In my coaching, part of what makes it unique, is my ability to hold space for my clients to connect to their own inner wisdom in a safe space. We do this using traditional business coaching methods based on GROW as a framework, combined with co-regulation of our nervous systems. This helps us come out of fight and flight and our sympathetic nervous system, and move into our parasympathetic nervous system, which is where we are in a more ease and flow state. This helps with connection, communication and creativity. And allows us to access our own inner genius.
Using this method, we are able to explore and come up with actionable plans to achieve transformation, whether you want to join my group coaching programme for future female leaders, or you would like a 1:1 programme to support you with a goal, a block or a change you want in your life, or if there's something you want clarity on, or want to achieve and are not sure how. We will get clear on your goals, where you might be holding yourself back and develop a clear action plan to move forward.
My Make The Leap programme combines the above approach with practical workshops that really create meaningful and longlasting shifts that can be taken back to our professional and personal lives often creating an immediate shift.
Weekly mindfulness and meditation
My weekly mindfulness practice is where we spend time tuning in, using a range of breathing and connection techniques and finish with a beautiful meditation, connecting into Mother Earth, ourselves and the universe.
Each week the meditation is slightly different, depending on the needs of the group. I set out with an idea and an intention, but stay open and curious to feelings and emotions within the circle throughout the meditation, allowing myself to be guided by the energy within the group.
