Event Description:
Step into nature and discover the wild food growing all around us! On this guided foraging and listening walk, we’ll explore the green spaces near Bromley to:
- Identify edible and medicinal plants like hawthorn berries, rose hips, and sloe berries
- Learn how these often-overlooked "weeds" were once everyday ingredients
- Discuss traditional and modern uses for wild plants
- Play a plant-spotting bingo game to learn as we go
- Taste foraged jam and end the session with scones, clotted cream, and a cozy chat
