Connect to Community Training Day- Dunfermline

Connect to Community’ exists to connect men and women coming out of prison with people in churches local to their area of release so that Christian people can provide mentoring support that welcomes and walks with people as they seek to begin again, reintegrating into community after a period of imprisonment. As well as being a priority of Jesus for Christian people, evidence shows that the quality of personal welcome and support people receive on returning from prison makes a huge difference to the shape of the life they adopt thereafter.

Connect to Community is offering training on 13th May 2017 in Dunfermline East Church in Dunfermline, that will look at the core principles of mentoring, the specific challenges facing men & women leaving prison, and the way a church can exercise an effective Christian ministry in this area. The cost is £15 per person or £25 per church team (2 or more) + a booking fee.
