Following our time together at ‘Connected’ in 2016 we are pleased to announce that we will be gathering again in 2017.
At this, our second 'Connected conference, we will be joined by:
Revd Dr Sam Wells, vicar of St Martin-in-the-Fields and Visiting Professor of Christian Ethics at King’s College.
The Very Revd Heidi Kinner is Dean and Rector of St Peter’s Cathedral in Helena, Montana.
Mary Hawes, the National Church of England, Going for Growth (Children and Youth) Adviser.
'Connected’ is a day for ministers and leaders from across the Diocese. The invitation is open to clergy, ordinands, LLM’s, and assistant bishops; Diocesan staff; and Cathedral chapter and staff.
The invitation is also extended to those who are serving in our churches in key ministry positions such as youth workers, pastoral care workers, families workers and community workers etc, and retired clergy who take a key leadership role. Unfortunately, due to the size of the venue, we cannot currently open this invitation up to a wider audience.
Through worship, prayer, fellowship and teaching, spending time with one another and by sharing stories from our parishes, this year we will explore together our diocesan priorities: making disciples, growing leaders and engaging younger generations.
A full programme for the day will be made available nearer the time.
