Connected Manufacturing Programme
Connected Manufacturing is designed to bring the manufacturing and digital communities together to showcase the opportunity offered by digital technologies to improve manufacturing productivity and competitiveness. The South Yorkshire programme is led by the Digital Media Centre, part of Enterprising Barnsley (the economic development arm of Barnsley Council) and our sponsors are Digital Catapult and Innovate UK. We are working in partnership with Sheffield Digital, University of Huddersfield and the Sheffield Innovation Programme (a joint initiative between Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield's Faculty of Engineering, and is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
It is part of a Yorkshire-wide initiative led by Digital Catapult Centre Yorkshire that aims to connect digital manufacturing activities and run tailored events across the region.
