What is this event about?

This session is an opportunity for public sector procurement officers and commissioners to learn, share and network. Each quarter, we invite different speakers to talk about different aspects of procurment and commissioning. This session, we have invited EASibuy to talk about e-auctions for the public sector, with a chance for delegates to experience a dummy auction.

What's on the agenda?

Ian Brown, Manchester City Council is chair of this networking event.

Randy Williamson, EASibuy on fully managed reverse auctions for government bodies and councils. This session includes a demo of the system that requires audience participation in a dummy e-auction.

Wendy Clarke, YPO on the latest developments from YPO

Peter Schofield, Trafford Council will be providing regional updates and a refresh of GM Social Value Policy.

Watch this space! More information will be provided soon.

About iNetwork's Connected Procurement Programme

This event is delivered to you as part of iNetwork's Connected procurement Programme. The NW region has had a strong public sector procurement network for many years however in line with pressures on the sector, resources to support the network’s activities have diminished.

Connected Procurement is an initiative to develop and grown the community of procurement professional in the North West region, to keep colleagues up to date on hot topics, changing legislation and opportunities and to create space to think through the challenges facing procurement professionals.

The YPO is helping ensure the viability of the network, working with colleagues in iNetwork.

The network is open to anyone who’s organisations are members of iNetwork, which includes almost all councils, NHS Police and Fire & Rescue organisations in the North West. A full list of members is available at www.i-network.org.uk.
