Event description
Join this unique event where museum educators and teachers will learn about new trends and tools to engage remotely with learners

About this Event

Europeana Education and the LEM Group of NEMO invites you to a learning event online addressed to museum educators and teachers.

During a two days workshop, you will know more about innovative pedagogical trends, free available resources to engage remotely with students and get insights into our plans to strengthen formal and informal education with digital cultural heritage. The event is also an opportunity to meet and discuss with peers across Europe, share your experience with online tools, and get practical insight on how to design eLearning activities for your learners in this disruptive period.

Important information:

  • Places are limited to museum educators and teachers. After your registration, we will select the candidates according to country representation. We will inform you by the end of July if you've got a place.
  • The organization will try to accommodate your track preferences for the breakout session, but we reserve the right to allocate you to another group in case of availability issues.
  • For those completing the workshop, we will grant a certificate.

Please note: Europeana is beginning to monitor attendance at our events to try to make sure that we are reaching as wide and diverse a section of the community working with or interested in digital cultural heritage as we possibly can. We ask you a series of questions relating to your age, gender identification and whether you have a visible or invisible disability. The disclosure of this information is completely voluntary. All responses will be treated in the strictest confidence, and all data disclosed will comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Europeana’s privacy policy. You can also read the Europeana Network Association Code of Conduct. We will anonymise your data and only use, analyse and report on anonymised data. Where a respondent voluntarily provides personal information, this data will be used only for the purposes for which it is provided, and not passed to any third party, unless obliged to disclose such information by a rule of law.
