About this event

Want to connect with people who will understand your upbringing and day to day experiences? Want a safe space where you can share your hardships and work on your self-growth? Feeling overwhelmed? Expectations and responsibilities dragging you down?

We are here for you.

If you identify as a South-Asian, come join our nourshing space where we will share similar experiences and feel closer as a community.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WESTMINSTER LIBRARIES!✨✨

After several requests for more frequent sessions and being kindly funded by The National Lottery Fund, from January 2025, this space for connection will take place at Charing Cross Library on the 3rd Saturday of every month!

Open to all ages (18+)

The first part of the session is all about venting your stresses and building connection. Then, each meeting focuses on a different topic and uses therapeutic arts to raise self awareness and encourage acceptance and change. We cover topics like anger, forgiveness, self-confidence, family, relationships, gratitude, empathy, self-appreciation, conflict resolution etc.

All discussions are completely confidential (unless your safety is at immediate risk). We will provide you with the materials required. We also serve snacks!

  • Please don’t be late as this may disrupt the flow of the session for the other participants. ⏰
  • You don’t have to participate in the exercises if you don’t want to, no one will pressure you. Your presence is enough. 😊
  • Feel free to bring a friend if that would be more comfortable for you (please book 2 seats).

Hope to see you there!

Deepanshi founded non-profit Rain On Me in 2018, after living with mental health struggles for over a decade. She wanted to meet people who would understand her and reassure her that she was not alone in her struggles. Of course, as more people started attending, she realised how badly everyone else needed this sense of community as well. And now in the form of a free, London and international peer support group, Rain On Me provides a safe, non-judgmental space for anyone needing to vent their mental distress or work on their self-growth. Rain On Me's in-person monthly sessions take place at Charing Cross Library.
