Getting online has never been more important.
Being able to access the internet can open up a whole world of opportunities. Many of us take it for granted that we can click on the web and shop cheaply, check out the latest job sites, discover key information for our studies or work, book a cut-price holiday or fill in an online government form.
However, for many in Scotland this isn’t an option. Those who are experiencing Digital exclusion, tend to also be experiencing other forms of exclusion or isolation. Digital inclusion is a huge challenge - and one which our host organisations are determined to face head-on as part of our vision to make homes and lives better.
Our fourth “Connecting the Unconnected” event will be held on the 26th April 2017 at the Mercure hotel, Inverness.
We have a full agenda of speakers presenting on issues which relate directly to Social Housing Tenants, disabled groups, those addressing social exclusion, and our Third Sector Network throughout Scotland.
A Full agenda and further details, including information on our speakers will be released soon.
Our Speakers will include.....
Martyn Wallace, Chief Digital Officer - @Digital_MW
