Connecting Trainees - Edinburgh Session

Starting a traineeship remotely rather than in the office can feel rather strange and can be a daunting prospect. Many of us will feel that we are missing out, as we have not been able to meet fellow trainees in person, and chat informally with people in the same position as us.

Starting a new role remotely can also make it more difficult to get a feel for the usual trainee experience, and be able to network with individuals at the same stage of their career to you, whom you would usually meet at SYLA and other events.

We will join together to discuss a couple of prepared discussion points to start the conversation, our experiences together, any tips, and bring together fellow trainees from the 2019/2020/2021 intake. We hope that this event will allow us to meet fellow trainees virtually, with a view to meeting in person in the near future!

Please note attendees will be placed into small groups throughout the event, so as to allow everyone the chance to speak comfortably.

All current trainees and trainees starting before June 2021 are welcome to join this event.
