🍂 Connection & Creation: An Autumn Retreat with Fleeting Fern

A day of mindfulness, creativity, and nature connection

Take a pause from the everyday and immerse yourself in a day designed to nourish your body, mind, and spirit. Join Fleeting Fern as we welcome the beauty of Autumn with a mindful journey into the Pinewoods, followed by an afternoon of relaxation and creativity at Westcliffe Hall.

🌲 Morning: Grounding in Nature

Meet at 11am at Westcliffe Hall/ Kairos Church (2 Harlow Terrace, Harrogate), where we’ll begin with a gentle introduction before setting off on a mindful walk through Valley Gardens, making our way to the serene Pinewoods.

Whether you join us solo or with a friend, this is a beautiful opportunity to connect—with others, with nature, and with yourself. We’ll move slowly, awakening the senses and tuning in to your internal rhythms as we transition into the day.

Once among the trees, you’ll be guided through a Forest Bathing session—a slow, sensory experience that encourages deep connection with the natural world. We’ll end with a warm cup of tea and the option to share reflections before returning to Westcliffe Hall.

🎨 Afternoon: Creative Expression

Back at the Hall, enjoy your packed lunch followed by a relaxing, nature-inspired craft session designed to spark creativity and calm. This is a chance to slow down, reconnect with your inner self, and create in a screen-free, nurturing environment.
