Connections Surgeries for ICPs and IDNOs
Location
Online event
Dedicated connections surgeries for Independent Connections Providers (ICPs) and Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs).
About this event
Our monthly surgeries are an opportunity for ICPs and IDNOs to talk to our engineers about your connection and benefit from their local knowledge of the network.
Our surgeries are held once a month and are currently being delivered via Microsoft Teams or over the telephone. Whether you need advice on a new connection, would like to explore your options or discuss an existing offer, no matter how complex your connection query, we will make sure we have the right colleague on hand to help.
What’s next?
Once you've registered, we will be in touch to confirm the time of your appointment. When registering, Eventbrite will automatically issue you with a ticket but please note that your appointment is not confirmed until we contact you. In the event your don't hear from us, email cinc.connections@northernpowergrid.com or call us on 0800 011 3433 and ask to speak to a member of the Competition in Connections team.
Surgery appointments will last no longer than an hour and you'll be able to discuss a maximum of five projects during that time. You will not be able to change or add to the list of projects you wish to discuss once your appointment has been confirmed.
We have a limited number of appointments available each month. Please don't request a surgery unless you are an ICP or IDNO and have specific projects you would like to discuss.
Please ensure you provide all the information requested during the booking process so that we can match you to the right Northern Powergrid engineer. We regret that we cannot progress your booking without the full information including the project name, location and postcode, connection date, technologies and capacity being considered and the ENQ number if applicable.
Don't forget we also have a range of online tools and resources available that can help you perform your own upfront assessments and make more informed choices about how and where to connect, visit our website to find out more. For information, guidance and policies aimed at ICPs and IDNOs, you can also visit the Competition in Connections section of our website.
