Cononsyth Farms 2025 Sunflower Maze & Pick Your Own Event

Meander your way through our trail of sunflowers and loose yourself in a calm and peaceful place - enjoy the sound & sight of an abundance of wildlife within the field - birds, bunnies, bees & bugs! Soak up the fresh country air and the beautiful scent of the sunflowers. Let the kids run off some steam & enjoy a picnic at one of our picnic benches! Enjoy lots of photo opportunities with a scenic sea of yellow in the backdrop!

Ticket information:

- General admission is £5 per person (5 years old +) incl booking fees.

- 3-5years old £2.50 per child

-Children under 3 go free

Ticket includes parking & entry to the sunflower maze. Sunflowers are available to purchase in addition.

PYO:

1 sunflower stem £1 | 6 stems for £5

Please bring your own scissors or secateurs with you to cut your flowers to take home. Once you have cut the stem of the sunflower, you will need to pay for them. Once you’ve taken them home, pop them in a nice big vase of water and enjoy!

Tickets are non transferable to another day. We may only open one day this season due to weather.

- How do we find you?

We are located at Cononsyth Farm on the B961 (postcode DD11 3SA). Access to the farm is off on the B961 on a sharp corner. Please note that the postcode covers the entire stretch of road therefore once in the vicinity look out for the Sunflower signs to prevent chaotic wrong turns!

-Are dogs allowed?

Well behaved dogs are permitted but must remain on a short lead at all times. You must pick up behind your dog & dispose of in our bins on site.

-Are wellies required?

We are on a working farm - depending on how the weather plays it might get muddy so dress appropriately for the weather conditions! It is in a field on a working farm after all.

-Do I need to print my ticket?

No, if you have a smartphone and can download the tickets this is perfect and preferred to reduce waste. If however you don’t have a smart phone you will need to print the tickets and bring a printed ticket with you to scan the barcode.

-Do I need to bring my own cutting tools?

Yes - you will need to bring your own secateurs or scissors if you wish to take any sunflowers home.

- What facilities are there on site?

We have a portaloo toilet on site (please note that we do not have disabled access toilets). Bring your own picnic and enjoy a snack in the outdoors.

- Is the field accessible for prams and wheelchairs?

It is very much a field on a working farm however all terrain pram & wheelchair access has been possible at past events. Please be aware that adverse weather conditions may affect accessibility therefore all terrain tyres are strongly recommended. It is rough terrain and may get muddy!

- Do you accept cash & card?

Cash payments are preferred but there are card facilities too. We would encourage you to bring loose change to help speed things up at the checkout if using cash.

Please arrive within your time slot so that we can manage the car parking area accordingly.
