Event description

Description

We would like to invite you to a short networking/stakeholder event to explore the potential for a new method of managing behaviour, social-emotional resilience and, mental health support for young people within the school environment.

  • A digital solution is being investigated in a pilot project here in Dorset and we would like your help to shape this innovative solution.

  • Delivered primarily for use via Primary and Secondary schools, PRUs and Learning Centres with scope for wider use for children and young people (CYP).

Education/schools/supporting agencies and most importantly young people’s collaboration plays a vital role. Through new technology, we’re looking at the development of a cutting-edge platform and resources to support a range of learning styles, to be pioneered in Dorset, addressing:

- Behaviour, Pastoral Care,
- Inclusion,
- Social-Emotional and Mental Health(SEMH),
- Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD),
- SEN.
- Safeguarding.
- Prevent Agenda. (Cyber Security)

A key fundamental aspect of the capabilities will be to address Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) and mental health objectives.

The unique combination of the state of the art techniques from behaviour psychological analysis, learning management systems and artificial intelligence to provide a holistic system gives this solution its disruptive and game changer quality.

  • Such a combination of techniques has not yet been used in the field of education and welfare in such a unique way.

  • Working with key objectives, multi-stakeholder collaboration, interagency efficiencies there’s a unique opportunity here to be truly innovative and for Dorset to be the pinnacle.

We are looking to work with a range of partners;
A small range of schools from the conurbation and rural, BU various departments, Local Authorities representatives (MASH, Children & Young People, Education, Social Services), Dorset Police, Public Health Dorset, Dorset MIND, various support organisations and independent subject matter experts.
