Take a break from the weekend shopping and chores and join Sharyn with a Why from Breathing Space for a Conscious Breathwork Session in central York on the first Saturday of the month at 10.30am (2 hours)
In these monthly sessions, we spend time with the fundamental elements of nature - Fire, Earth, Air and Water - exploring what they mean to us, how they can support us and how we can support nature in exchange.
Drawing on whatever is happening for us in the moment. In this breathwork circle we'll have time for learning, sharing, self-reflecting, and most of all BREATHING
Bring a yoga mat or a blanket (or both), a notebook and pen, and some water. Gift yourself 2 hours dedicated totally to YOU

5th July 25 - Water – Our need for safety and security in ourselves, our home and environment.

2nd August 25 - Fire - Our increased confidence as we creatively express ourselves

Frequently asked questions
Conscious Breath is a specific Breathwork technique that we use to connect with our highest, truest, wisest, and kindest self. We use it to shine a light on those parts of us which may be hidden or that we may have forgotten.
There are some contraindications to consider as this type of breath changes the chemistry of your blood, specifically the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide, however this is not exclusive, there are modifications we can make if you have any health considerations.
The early stages of pregnancy or if you have an unstable pregnancy Schizophrenia, bipolar, or if you're taking anti-psychotic medications Epilepsy or a history of seizures Heart conditions, extremes of blood pressure, strokes or aneurysm (heart or brain) Glaucoma Recent abdominal surgery
Conscious Connected Breath is a particular technique which we will demonstrate to you in the session, however there are modifications that can be made if you are not comfortable. At all times you are in control of your experience and well being.
