Meeting difficult feelings with compassion and acceptance
Overview
Meeting all parts of yourself with compassion and acceptance Conscious Connected Breathwork in Brighton Saturday 10th January 11:00 AM. 46 Quebec Street, BN29UZ
We all carry feelings and thoughts that we may have learned to hide - jealousy, rage, grief, shame, bitterness, amongst others. We may worry that having these feelings means that we are broken or not a good person. Often, rather than dealing with them, we push them away hoping that they will disappear or not show up in public. If left untamed and untended they can eat away at our peace, seeping out in ways we didn't choose.
These feelings don't have to define you, they are often thoughts, emotions, patterns of behaviour that have gotten stuck and need some attention, some tending to. They've been waiting for you to listen, to sit with them, to see them as part of the full spectrum of being human rather than something to be ashamed of.
I offer a space to meet these parts of you with curiosity and compassion, to explore what's there without judgment, to discover what lies beneath them, what they are trying to tell you, what they've been protecting.
Through the practises of somatic movement, embodiment, journalling, and conscious connected breathwork, we'll create space for these feelings, memories, to be met, acknowledged, released, and integrated, honouring them as an integral part of your wholeness.
When we can be with what's difficult, something shifts. Often there's a gift waiting beneath the surface, a truth, a boundary, a need, a part of yourself asking to be reclaimed.
You are not broken, you are whole.. a beautifullly messy, lovable, fallable human and you are worth showing up for yourself and meeting all parts of you with compassion and self acceptance
Many people find they leave a Conscious Connected Breathwork and Embodiment session with a renewed sense of clarity, energy, liberation and hopefulness, a feeling of coming home to themselves.
You'll be guided through this breath practice at a pace that honours your own levels of resilience and capacity. Each person's journey is unique. Your body will guide the way, supported by the breath, revealing its deep wisdom to you.
This goes deeper than your usual relaxation class. This is about meeting yourself, all of you, with presence and compassion.
Curious? Show up for yourself. Embrace the wholeness of who you are.
I look forward to welcoming you.
