AIM:
To provide an overview around the importance of consent & Confidentiality when having conversations with young people about consenting to sexual activity.
Learning Outcomes:
• To understand what is meant by sexual consent.
• To know key aspects relating to consent to sex and be familiar with the extent and limits of confidentiality owed to young people.
• To have an understanding of the Sexual Offences Act, enabling you to use it to inform your discussions about sex and the law with young people U16/16+ and other professionals/colleagues.
• To identify useful resources to use when discussing consent.
