The impact of Domestic Violence & Abuse (DVA) on emotional & psychological wellbeing is often undermined and yet statistics show that a grave picture the reality, including that 70% of those in in-patient psychiatric units, and 80% in secure units have histories of physical and or sexual abuse.
The objective of this training day is to expose the consequences of DVA on the mental wellbeing of adult & child victims, as well as equip delegates on the best informed approaches to use. There is also an opportunity to learn about finding recovery emotionally & psychologically.
Open to national delegates & ideal for CPD, this training is especially suitable for statutory service workers, academics, survivors of DVA, politicians, other professionals who work with victims & perpetrators of DVA, multi-faith leaders, & members of multi-faith communities. PLACES ARE LIMITED.
