The first in-person UK conference with speakers from academia and the industry specialising in dog and ecology science and applications.

About this event

The Conservation Detection Dog Conference is the first of its kind in the UK with in-person presentations and interactive demonstrations which will include selecting a detection dog and demonstrations of different search techniques. There will also be plenty of networking opportunities including a poster session and conference dinner on the Saturday night.

We have a range of speakers from the world of canine behaviour, wildlife detection and the ecology and conservation industry as well as experts in detection dog training and handling and some of the latest emerging research in this field.

Each day will be split into presentations and demonstrations with time to network and meet others in your field. The Ecology Detection Dog Group Britain and Ireland Working Group AGM will take place on the Sunday. Lunch and refreshments will be included on both days.

This will be a weekend that will provide you with ideas for you and your canines future in Conservation Detection
