Join King's Sustainability for a day of nature conservation volunteering at Lavender Pond Nature Park.
Work days at Lavender Pond are an opportunity to be involved in the long term management of one of Britain's oldest created urban Nature Reserves. Tasks vary depending on project, time of year and necessity. Pond and wetland work, woodland management, gardening/ ammenity work, practical conservation and general reserve management.
The following is provided on the day:
Fully trained leaders
Training & a safety briefing
First Aid provision
An introduction to the work on site
Tools, protective clothing, hot drinks and water
