Join West Lothian Rangers and the Conservation Volunteers group to carry out some practical tasks in our greenspaces throughout the county.

For this session we will be based in Beecraigs Country Park. Our task is to carry out some maintenance work on the paths around Balvormie meadow. We will be scraping back mud to improve the drainage, cutting back back encroaching vegetation, and topping up some of the stone on the paths.

All tools and a full tool safety talk will be provided by the Ranger. If you have some, please bring along a pair of gloves with you, wear appopriate clothing for the weather, and sturdy footwear. Please bring along any snacks and drinks you require. No prior experience is necessary to take part in the sessions, new volunteers are always welcome!

The session will run for two hours starting at 10:30am, and the meeting place is Balvormie Car Park in Beecraigs Country Park. We hope to see you there!
