Eid al-Adha is the Muslim festival that falls at the end of the Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca. It commemorates the willingness of the prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) to sacrifice his son upon God's instruction, a story found in the Bible as well as the Quran. In 2016 Eid al-Adha is expected to be on or around 12 September. Allowing for the party conferences season, the Conservative Muslim Forum is holding an Eid al-Adha reception on Tuesday 25 October. Dr Rami Ranger CBE. Dr Ranger is the Chairman of Sun Mark Limited, which has won the Queen's Award for Enterprise for five consecutive years.
Baron Sheikh, of Cornhill in the City of London. Lord Sheikh is the founder and current President of the Conservative Muslim Forum.
