Description

All Party Parliamentary Group on Pro Bono and Public Legal Education: 'The role of Pro Bono - making the shared society more than a slogan'

With the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Pro Bono and Public Legal Education to which LawWorks provide the Secretariat, we are holding a discussion event at the Conservative Party Conference with the Solicitor General, Robert Buckland QC MP, on the contribution that pro bono can make to what the Prime Minister has called the "shared society."

Panelists will also look at some examples of pro bono in practice in Manchester; the panel includes Lucy Wildig from BPP, Clare Johnson from LawWorks and Jon Hainey, President of Manchester Law Society. The event will be chaired by Alex Chalk MP, Chair of the APPG.

Please register for attendance at the event.

LawWorks is also contributing to fringe meeting events at the Labour and Liberal Democrat party conferences.
