Consolers burst onto the scene in April 2025 with their debut single Inhale. The release quickly landed the Belfast-based five-piece support slots with Irish rock heavyweights Fangclub and The Wood Burning Savages, while also drawing attention from BBC Introducing, The Irish News, and Sunday Life.
Their follow-up single, Watcher, was praised by Fresh On The Net’s Listening Post as “a force unto itself.”
Now, with their third single Sink On In, Consolers are gearing up for a busy autumn, with shows lined up in Belfast, Derry, and Dublin.
The band’s music is recorded at 1980 Something Studios with producer Jonny Woods (Wynona Bleach) and mastered by Jon Moorehead at Moostronix.
Consolers are:
Onja Sleator / Daniel Lynch / Ethan Hanna / Sean McCann / Iain Minford
Press Highlights:
- “Consolers could be your new fave band… soaring guitars, sharp hooks and shoegaze-sprinkled vocals.” – Edwin McFee, Northern Stars, Sunday Life
- “Off to a promising start with this infectious Jonny Woods (Wynona Bleach) produced tune.” – David Roy, Noise Annoys, Irish News
- “Incredible vocals.” – Taylor Johnson, BBC Introducing in NI
- “This track is a force of nature unto itself!” – Del Osei-Owusu, Fresh On The Net
- “There is an unmistakable nod to early eighties post-punk about this, but mixed with a contemporary freshness.” – Neil March, Trust The Doc
