Constructing in Code
Young people program and print in 3D their own Minecraft creations
Bootcamps are hands-on holiday workshops for young people aged between 11 and 19 who have a keen interest in developing their skills in computing beyond the usual screen and keyboard. Technocamps hopes to attract the interest of young consumers and encourage them to get making!
This Bootcamp has been created in response to the recent and huge interest in Raspberry Pi, Minecraft and 3D printing. Programming in Minecraft is a mission only possible on the Raspberry Pi - the founders of the Pi want to ensure that young people develop their skills in programming so they created a special edition Minecraft: Pi. Young people can now hack their way into the game world Minecraft and modify it with code.
Bootcamp 1 - Monday 24th February and Tuesday 25th February, 10am - 3:30pm
Places are limited and available on a first come first served basis, and registration is a must. For any queries please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01970 622454.
