Construction and the Built Environment Network meeting .
Wed 8 February 2017, 10:00 – 13:00 GMT
The FREE regional network meetings led by our subject specialist advisors will share our new approach to skills-based education that’s been designed to bridge the gap between education and employment. These are for centres who deliver construction qualifications and want to embrace the changes and challenges the vocational landscape is experiencing within the sector.
Whilst keeping this focused for relevant staff attending and delivery within the construction sector we aim to commence promptly at 10:00 signing in from 9:30 with a 13:00pm finish
At present and over the next couple of years, the Construction portfolio will be changing and expanding its products and services to meet a number of industry and policy reforms. Two of these key drivers are the new apprenticeship standards, as well as the 14-19 reforms. We are keen to keep our delivery network up to date and provide the guidance and support required. The agenda will focus on these main areas as well as product launching our new suite of Technical qualifications in Construction and the Built Environment (6720).
Led by subject specialists, this event will help you address:
The 14-19 reforms and what they mean for your centre
New Technical Qualifications meeting DfE requirements at KS4 and KS5 level 2 and 3
The Apprenticeship landscape
